CSW 62: Empowering Rural Women and Girls

The Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) is an exclusive UN body dedicated to the promotion of gender equality and the empowerment of women. The #CSW is an essential instrument that brings together UN member states, UN entities, and civil society organizations on behalf of fostering and creating new norms about the treatment of women and girls everywhere. Each year the Commission meets for two-weeks in March. This year the #CSW62 will be in session 12th to 23rd of March to discuss the priority theme of “Challenges and opportunities in achieving gender equality and the empowerment of rural women and girls.”

CSW 62: Autonomiser les femmes et les filles dans les zones rurales

La Commission de la condition de la femme (CSW) est un organe exclusif des Nations Unies consacré à la promotion de l’égalité des sexes et à l’autonomisation des femmes. Le #CSW est un instrument essentiel qui réunit les États membres de l’ONU, les entités des Nations Unies et les organisations de la société civile au nom de la promotion et de la création de nouvelles normes sur le traitement des femmes et des filles partout dans le monde. Chaque année, la Commission se réunit pendant deux semaines en mars. Cette année, le #CSW62 se tiendra en session du 12 au 23 mars pour discuter du thème prioritaire des « défis et opportunités pour parvenir à l’égalité des sexes et à l’autonomisation des femmes et des filles rurales ».

Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) (in English & French)

The 17th Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) took place on November from November 1 to 14 2017 at the Théâtre du Leman, and the winners of this prestigious prize was revealed.

What is the GPHG?

 

Created in 2001, The Foundation of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) is a public interest organization whose main objective is to contribute to promote Swiss watchmaking and its values around the world. The organization is chaired by Mr. Carlo Lamprecht, former President of the Geneva State Council, and the following founding members, The republic and Canton of Geneva, the city of Geneva, The International Museum of Horology (MIH) , The Geneva Laboratory of Horology and Microengineering (Timelab) and The Edipresse group are all members of the board except for The Edipresse group.

The Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) is organized every year by the Foundation pay a tribute to the excellence of worldwide horological production and rewards the finest creations and the most important operators in the watchmaking sector.

Le 17ème Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) s’est tenu du 1er au 08 novembre 2017 au Théâtre du Léman, et les lauréats de ce prestigieux prix ont été dévoilés.

 

Le Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève

Créée en 2001, la Fondation du Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) est une association d’intérêt public dont l’objectif principal est de contribuer à la promotion de l’horlogerie suisse et de ses valeurs dans le monde.

L’organisation est présidée par M. Carlo Lamprecht, ancien président du Conseil d’Etat de Genève et les membres fondateurs à savoir, La République et le Canton de Genève, la ville de Genève, Le Musée International d’Horlogerie (MIH) {que j’ai eul e plaisir de visiter}Le Laboratoire d’Horlogerie et de Microtechnique de Genève (Timelab) et Le groupe Edipresse sont tous membres de le conseil d’administration à l’exception du groupe Edipresse.

Le Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) est organisé chaque année par la Fondation pour rendre hommage à l’excellence de la production horlogère mondiale et récompenser les plus belles créations et les opérateurs les plus importants du secteur horloger. Quelques gagnants de cette année:
